West Coast Trail

We've done it! Mel, Kevin and I hiked 75 fantastic kilometres along the west coast of Vancouver island in the Pacific Rim National Park. We slid along slimey boardwalks, scaled massive ladders, scrambled over boulders, gingerly stepped around muddy pits and walked along endless beaches. There were 6 nights of great beach camping (well minus the 1 night it rained, but it only rained 1 night and in the temperate rainforest that is pretty damn good) and many more rest stops in awesome locations ( we had the "take the time to smell the ferns" philosophy).
